Acroyoga At The Park

After our recent Acroyoga workshop with Richard Baimbridge, the group of very enthusiastic friends & some new found friends wanted to polish our skills in Acroyoga. It is not as intimidating as the pictures may seem to some of you, it is actually very exhilirating and even very liberating for some of us as you are being balanced in air by another. At some point you would actually think you are flying, but still grounded steadily at the same time. Lots of outburst of laughter and you have heard it many times before, "laughter is the best medicine".

Some core strength and good balance would be helpful for this pose with a strong base. Safety is vital in Acroyoga, therefore, we will always have a Spotter, a person standing close to the Base & Flyer to catch hold of Flyer just in case she/he losses balance.

One variation of the warm-up sessions

We take turns to base (the person at the bottom) and fly (obviously, the person on top flying)
