Acroyoga - Beginner's Level

To have a good balance, it is important to know the Feet Placement

The Grip

This is another grip for different variety of poses.

One of the Therapeutic Flying - excellent stretch for the back of the neck.

Just relax in mid-air, supported whilst getting a gentle massage.

I personally find that my skin glows and my face is radiant everytime after Acroyoga. I presume it is because of the inversions and blood flow to the head. It is much easier being upside down when someone is supporting you, as the base person is supporting your weight. It was to my surprise that it is much easier to do many yoga poses when being suspended as compared to being grounded and doing yoga on my own. The body & mind feels amazingly liberated and you could just let go and be free. But most of all, it is so much fun, especially when jamming with friends, but then again, when doing Acroyoga with new found friends, we become buddy almost instantly.

It was his first time trying out Acroyoga, and mind you, he doesn't have any experience in yoga. With some encouragement from friends, some curiosity and adrenaline pumping, anyone can try Acroyoga. However, it is imperative that Acroyoga is practiced with safety in mind. Hence, always have a spotter nearby ready to catch you.

Getting into the Bird pose.

And there he is flying for the first time.

Your back will be opened after this anti-gravity back bend

Bird Pose

TV Pose, everyone would normally be the happiest at this pose. Why? come for the workshop, and you will find out why.

Folded Leaf, my ultimate favourite pose
