OPEN HIPS, OPEN HEART with "Lila" Malaya Kasal (USA)

Explore "Padma and Prem"/"Lotus and Love", in this hip opening workshop. Surrender into deep hip opening postures, strengthen andstabilize the core, awaken your heart to new possibilities.

Learn new techniques to open the pelvis and prepare for lotus, lunge and monkey poses. With newly opened hips float into arm balances like Tittibhasana, Koundinyasana and variations on traditional inversions.

If you are interested in exploring ways to improve hip mobility or simply deepen your yoga practice then this workshop is for you.

There will be modifications and progressions of poses suitable for anyone with some yoga experience.



About your teacher:

American Yoga teacher, "Lila" Malaya Kasal, has been teaching yoga throughout Asia for 3 years. A former professional dancer, Malaya has 15 years of experience teaching a wide variety of differently abled students-blind, deaf and handicapped to elite athletes. She holds a B.A. in Dance from Colorado College and is certified in Pilates (both mat and reformer). She studied Integral Yoga intensely at the Swami Satchidananda Ashram in the U.S. and in India and specializes in Prenatal, Labor and Postnatal Yoga, Yoga for Kids and Yoga for Seniors. Most recently, she completed the 390 hour teacher training program at ITM in Thailand for Thai Yoga Massage.

Her knowledge, humor and enthusiasm continue to inspire students and
fellow teachers to explore the joyful practice of yoga.

Hi, is Lila still teaching in KL? Do you know how I can contact her? Used to attend her classes but have lost contact. Would love to attend her classes again if she's still teaching in KL... Thanks.
